Planner/Architect

Are you an architect/planner passionate about designing communities and helping clients realize their vision? Do you enjoy working in an office with a talented team who share similar interests? Bassenian Lagoni, headquartered in Newport Beach, CA, may be right for you. We are seeking a creative, motivated architect/planner to join our talented team to design and develop site and architectural solutions for single-family, multi-family, mixed-use housing, and hospitality projects for clients across the country.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create community site plans, including master planned communities, suburban districts and urban infill

  • Create detailed exhibits supporting the overall community design

  • Create digital presentation packages of proposed communities

  • Create architectural solutions that reinforce planning solutions

  • Knowledge of current residential trends, solutions and associated densities

Skills and Experience

  • Professional degree required – Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

  • Ability to hand sketch ideas

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Ability to understand and interpret information and data from the client, city, etc., to inform design solutions

  • Able to work in a team environment and efficiently meet client expectations

  • Strong communicator able to present ideas clearly to clients and colleagues

Pay Range

  • $80,000 - $110,000 a year
